Fr0zkaandClaude Opus 5.5 e016f6a20f feat(core): cavern graph v1, one continuous floor-capped tunnel into the landmark chamber (L46); R13
The flagged SW demo's ramp (57 carves + 107 support pillars, visibly ribbed) becomes one cubic-Bezier
sweep: closest point by 17-point seed plus 5 Newton steps, a cubic floor profile, a rounded 2.6 m bore,
and a hard floor cap applied after unions and relief that only adds support where the field is air.
Optional resolved cavern-graph records (one room, one edge) enter canonical identity only when present;
their bounds extend World::isTileShapeFree. Reachability passes (L43 control fails), headroom 2.8 m,
floor ripple 1.8 mm (L45 ramp control fails at 17.9 mm), shape limits met; demo off: owner hashes
identical to L45. fast/medium/full PASS. Research R13 (read-only): continuous SDF sweeps along curves.

Fr0zkaandClaude Opus 5.5 f13b145f23 feat(core): reachable SW landmark chamber demo with a reachability audit (L45); research R12
Stamp vocabulary v2; the flagged SW demo opens through a side-facing portal and a bent ramp (max 14 deg,
two landings) into a 17 x 15 m chamber with a rock dais. New reachability audit: a capsule surface search
from walkable ground near the arrival mouth to the chamber floor (66 samples, 0 blocked/unsupported); the
buried L43 layout fails it. Demo off: owner hashes identical to L44. fast/medium/full PASS (Clang+GCC).

Fr0zkaandClaude Opus 5.5 422dd7761a feat(core): deterministic bounded SDF landmark stamps, off by default (L43); research R10
Stamp vocabulary v1 (carve ellipsoid/arch, fill pillar/dais) with smooth CSG and seeded relief; the
director resolves records (stable ID, strate, micrometre position, conservative bounds) from
hash(seed, strate, ID) with up to 512 candidates and rejects any that touch a passage mouth, walk corridor,
content face or ceiling/bedrock band; a stamp BVH skips tiles outside all bounds. No requests: canonical
JSON and owner hashes unchanged. --landmark-chamber-demo adds a SW chamber (buried; see review).
fast/medium/full PASS on clean builds. Research R10 (read-only): ore/resource channel design.
Review also records a pre-existing W1/W12 determinism mismatch at a non-spawn camera (L37+, not S14).

Fr0zkaandClaude Opus 5.5 2566f53734 refactor(core): boundary policy as resolved capabilities, not generator-name tests (L42, step 6); R9
ResolvedLayoutSnapshotV3::finalize maps each strate's generator and interface once into capability
records (FI gradient air-gap, surface/FI landing support, passage-anchor columns, SW-to-TN floor);
ApplyResolvedStrateBoundaryBand and passage composition read those instead of generator kinds. Derived
records stay out of canonical JSON, so layout identity is unchanged. Owner hashes identical to L41;
fast/medium/full PASS on clean Clang and GCC builds; cost within noise.
Research R9 (read-only): player-visible roadmap refresh.

Fr0zkaandClaude Opus 5.5 efa9e89468 refactor(core): bind generator fields once per resolved strate (L40, migration step 2); research R7
SurfaceWorld, FloatingIslands and legacy evaluators sit behind one immutable densityAt adapter held in
a variant (no virtual call per sample); BindResolvedStratumFields builds a sorted strate table at world
setup, so DensityAt, native SW/FI sampling and ClassifyBoxDetailed no longer ask the strate manager per
sample. No arithmetic change: owner hashes identical to L37/L39 at W1/W12. Cost vs L39: FI -0.66%,
SW -1.31% (noise). verify fast/medium/full PASS (full re-run alone: 407 gates).
Research R7: disk cache design for UE5/Windows/multiplayer and a zlib probe (about 1/3 size, 0.1 ms/tile).

Fr0zkaandClaude Opus 5.5 7f2d84d2c7 fix: L37 Core compile error (stray paren) and Unreal-side issues from review R2
ShapeWorldInternal.h kept an extra ')' after a diagnostic edit was restored post-build, so the L37
commit did not compile; the fixed build reproduces L37's verified owner-world hashes exactly.
Unreal (uncompiled here): SetHardTransitionFallbackForAssembly is const over a mutable runtime flag
(the adapter calls it through a const manager); the legacy fallback clears the flag; VoxelStrateManager
includes <cmath> for std::llround. Adds research R2 (read-only Unreal compile/behaviour review).

Fr0zkaandClaude Opus 5.5 3e443bf81c wip(assembler): round L37 -- FI mouth carve-fade fix, no raised bridge (style 0); research R1
The passage mouth fade multiplied the signed carve distance by zero, which turned native rock into an
open surface (the reason earlier rounds stamped walk pads at mouths); it now blends between the
uncarved field and the full signed carve. The FI style-0 route followed a lifted grade envelope over
the crater (the "bridge"); it now runs on the rim and follows the native surface. New built-shape and
crease audits with thresholds frozen before the fix (L36 and box controls fail). 24/24 passage rows,
30/30 determinism, 16/16 invariants, 18/18 interface/ring. Unreal: one recipe setter (uncompiled).

Fr0zkaandClaude Opus 5.5 8be1c4d9ef wip(assembler): round L36 -- tunnel floor without washboard; FI mouth without shards (evaluator v23)
The walk tread was built per segment as a one-sided density clamp, so its crossing with the native
field moved at segment joins (L35: 2.25-2.48 cm washboard). Treads now overlap up to 2 m as bounded
signed-distance slabs (0.06 cm residual). The FI mouth's crater detail and tread met without a smooth
join; v23 filters the local field, drops thin isolated solids and smooth-unions the tread with the
terrain. New floor ripple and mouth fragment/crease audits with L35 as failing controls. 24/24
passage rows, 30/30 determinism, 16/16 invariants, LOD0-8 rings; cost within noise.

Fr0zkaandClaude Opus 5.5 ba017077d1 wip(assembler): round L35 -- smooth passage walls without regular ribs (evaluator v21)
The shared passage carve took the minimum of piecewise-linear capsules (scallops at joins) and added
wall relief on regular 8 m / 4 m octaves, which read as evenly spaced ribs. Interior sweep joins are
now Catmull-Rom smoothed and the relief uses irregular rotated 43/29/19 m scales; the natural wobble
remains. New axial ripple audit (0.125 m radius samples, 0.5-8 m periods): beaded control and L34
geometry fail, all 24 passage rows pass. FI mouth tread apron tapered. 30/30 determinism, 16/16
invariants, ring audits LOD0-8 pass; cost within noise.

Fr0zkaandClaude Opus 5.5 b7a47bef95 wip(assembler): round L33 -- SurfaceWorld can be an upper strate; FloorProfileBlend measures seams
Route planning for an upper SurfaceWorld failed on long candidate chords over steep relief; chords
are now capped to the arrival/departure radii on an 8 m centre grid with an origin-proximity cost
(21.5 m walk, about 4 deg). The departure passage starts at the SW ground and tunnels down through rock.
FI -> SW -> TN fixture: all 4 styles pass every passage audit on both compilers. FloorProfileBlend
now checks endpoint height/tangent seams (step and tangent-step negative controls detected). Owner
world hashes unchanged; 30/30 determinism; cost within noise.

Fr0zkaandClaude Opus 5.5 d0158c6019 wip(assembler): round L32 -- smooth Gradient interface at full amplitude (no rings, not flat)
Band faces now use signed distance to the displaced solid intervals, continuous across bands, so
MC interpolates the interface instead of terracing at density levels. The Gradient amplitude is
restored to width/8 (about 4 m peak-to-peak at 16 m). Ring/terrace audit at LOD0-8 on the FI floor and SW
ceiling passes; negative controls: L30 (rings) and L31 (flat) both fail. Hole/interface audits,
16 passage rows and 24/24 determinism pass. Evaluator 20. Cost vs L31 SW +1.9%, FI +1.5%.

Fr0zkaandClaude Opus 5.5 28069f0d98 wip(assembler): round L31 -- FI recipe column audit corrected; recipe-stamped audit runner
On the real FloatingIslands recipe, column caps sit inside anchor-island rock and native bedrock;
the old check sampled the route foot. The audit now samples each planned cap against the native
field (negative control: a cap moved into air is detected). The audit runner records requested vs
actual recipe and exits on mismatch. All 16 passage rows (4 styles x 2 recipes x 2 compilers) pass.
The readable shader uses a smooth tint. Interim: FI Gradient displacement capped at width/256
(flat floor, no contour rings); restoring real undulation is L32. Evaluator 19.

Fr0zkaandClaude Opus 5.5 103d8b471e wip(assembler): round L30 -- FI floor ring defect fixed; transition cost recovered
The Gradient interface left native solid density in the air-side gap and snapped the face to
voxel levels (concentric ring steps on the FI floor). The owner Gradient path now writes signed
distance both sides; match error RMS 0.36 -> 0.11 m. Band and fade-tile culling cut transition
cost: whole view vs L24 SW +2.7%, FI +0.2%. Evaluator 16. Deterministic across compilers and
workers; interface and passage audits pass. Found: on the real FloatingIslands recipe, the
rock-column connected-ends audit fails (all styles); earlier matrices ran SurfaceWorld twice.

EVoxelStrateTransition from the upper strate shapes the bedrock(N)/ceiling(N+1) interface in the
shared composition layer: Hard flat; Gradient = smooth 2D hash surface (16 m owner width, about 4 m
measured undulation); Interleaved = 3D domain-warped fingered overlap within the width. Each band
keeps >= 2 Core voxels solid; faces return to the seam near passage mouths. Interface audit over
512 m: 0 hole columns for all modes; wider-than-declared and too-thin controls rejected. All passage,
route, proof and validator audits pass; deterministic Clang = GCC. Evaluator 15. Cost +4% SW,
+1.3% FI vs L28. Open: ring-like artifact on the FI floor capture; transition look unverified.

Fr0zkaandClaude Opus 5.5 cb9236c265 wip(assembler): round L24 -- per-strate passage styles; natural Worm default; FI anchor island
Core plans inter-strate passages from each upper strate's FStratePassageConfig for every
generator: Straight / Worm (the new natural default: meander, variable radius, rough walls) /
Spiral / Cascading. A naturalness audit (no >8 m flat runs, >=0.20 m wall relief) fails on L23's
smooth tube. FloatingIslands selects Spiral, with a deterministic unique anchor island (ordinal 2)
joined to the bedrock floor by a rock root. The SW arrival no longer stamps flat shelves.
Capsule audits 0 blocked / 0 unsupported / 0 grade failures, all styles. Full-view hashes
deterministic W1/W8/W12, Clang = GCC (reviewer re-run). Evaluator 10, FI geometry 5.

Fr0zkaandClaude Opus 5.5 71d09a8c52 wip(assembler): round L23 -- inter-strate passages planned from the resolved layout and carved
After L22 the FI -> SW passage no longer connected the strates (legacy owner-voxel coordinates,
lower end 23 m above SW), and Core never carved passages through the bands. Now the director
plans passages from the resolved layout (PlanResolvedLayoutPassagesV1; deterministic hash of
seed/strates/connection; placement disk from PassageConfig, 8-24 m around (0,0)); shared
composition applies generator field -> bands -> bounded passage carve and support shelf, opening
the bands only along the tunnel. Mouths bind to the strate routes. Capsule audit: 0 blocked /
0 unsupported (325,962 samples FI, 284,319 TunnelNetwork), negative controls detected; all 8
generator kinds exercised. SW away from the passage is bit-identical. Layout V3, evaluator 9.

StrateLayoutChunkSizeMeters (world setting, default 8 m; owner decision) is resolved once in
the director/adapter and standalone loader; every generator reads the resolved width (no
CHUNK_SIZE / Core-tile inference). Every strate gets solid ceiling and bedrock bands from its
BoundarySealThickness in the shared composition path (diggable by default); faces come from the
shared boundary path. Owner world: FloatingIslands +8..-120 m (128 m, now with a bedrock floor),
SurfaceWorld -120..-632 m (unchanged; full-detail and exact-query hashes equal L21); the 60 m gap is
gone. The strict layout validator passes on the real world, with 0 endpoint dispatch
disagreements. Spawn/benchmark camera derived from route.front. Ledges under the islands gone

Region pages fell back to the legacy GetDensityAt evaluator while the base shape used the Core

Fr0zkaandClaude Opus 5.5 d6e69420e8 wip(assembler): round S1 -- one Core voxel-size source; per-tile feature lists (islands)
AVoxelWorld::CoreVoxelSizeCm (default 25, 32 voxels/tile) flows through plan, field,
mesher, content, water, atmosphere, edits and collision. Staged-owner BuildHost passes at
20 cm (SurfaceWorld + islands, W1/W8/W16, anchors, BP edits, collision) with a fixed-25cm
negative control; default-size hashes match round 4; Core off stays legacy 12.5 cm.
Reusable BuildWorldAssemblyFeatureTileListV1; wired into FloatingIslands only so far.
256-island stress: tile p95 112.5 -> 2.0 ms, 0 mismatches, dropped-feature control fails.
Content placement measured (no populated cells): island ground search 7.25 ms/cell vs
legacy 0.29 ms -- open. Outside-review evaluation in Round5/REPORT.md.

Fr0zkaandClaude Opus 5.5 48fa028086 wip(assembler): M3 round 3 -- separated islands + Unreal island route (owner build 18:46)
Islands read as separate (91.89% open sky at mid-height), underside cavity closed,
rim teeth were capture shading. Island manifest import + BuildHost proof passed on the
pre-cache tree; M1 SurfaceWorld and M2 V1/V2 gates passed.

Known open: final XY-column cache compiled in the owner build but is unverified;
island LOD0 p95 ~155 ms misses the 133 ms sprint deadline (legacy ~43 ms); the island
manifest only fits the BuildHost fixture layout (owner's world: Core init fails,
empty world) -> round 4 builds plans inside Unreal.

Fr0zkaandClaude Opus 5.5 2d0cec90e4 wip(assembler): M1 round 4 -- cap rebuilt (no hiding), sub-voxel audit, routes + mesh-free queries
Luna, M1 round 4 (resumed after the night stop):
- Cliff: sub-voxel audit (29,929 half-voxel XY columns, min run 3.75 voxels, 0 subvoxel runs;
old taper control exposes 20,963) and a root-line shelf at the two-voxel minimum.
- Horizon slab = aliased LOD8 cap ceiling. The first fix hid the ceiling at LOD8 (challenged:
enclosed, interior-lit strates); now the LOD8 cap is rebuilt deterministically from the
native heightfield, skirts preserved; looking up and out shows the cap present.
- Routes: review manifest with 33 stable-ID route points + capsule/support constraints; capsule
sweep 0 blocked samples / 0 unsupported centres, negative control detected.
- Server path: World::densityAt answers without render meshes. Physics cooking not available
  standalone.
- Hashes (evaluator + 2,226-tile stream) identical at W1/W8/W16. LOD8: 4.446 s for 529 tiles,
  14.25 M field calls, 165 unknown tiles.
- Captures at 60 fps cap + vsync (owner's GPU coil whine). One cliff probe crossed the ~8 GB
guard (7.69 GiB) and was stopped before capturing.
My review: cap view matches legacy closely, no slab; native cliff is a clean attached ledge
(cleaner than legacy); a few small spikes on the ridge top.

Fr0zkaandClaude Opus 5.5 2c20f9eaea wip(assembler): M1 repair round -- raised block and cliff fixed; native 7x faster than legacy
Luna, M1 repair round: the rectangular raised block and the broken cliff shared one cause,
a type-2 solid AABB in the generated plan; it is now a tapered, terrain-following shelf, and
a negative-control audit catches the old box behaviour; seam classification check passes.
Bound audit 298 boxes / 8,046 samples, 0 misses. Evaluator and 120-tile density/mesh/payload/
topology hashes identical at W1/W8/W16. Cave regression: walkability 5,642/5,642, 64/64 tiles.
Legacy mismatch unchanged (0 biome mismatches, 18.14% signs).
Speed (matched workloads): 120-tile full detail 0.089 s native vs 0.625 s legacy; 529-tile
clipmap 3.858 s vs 11.687 s -- 2.29 s above the ~1.57 s aim; LOD8 dominates (165 unknown
tiles, 13.27 M field calls, 10.88 M column-cache misses).
My capture review: coast matches legacy closely; surface clean but a dark flat slab on the far
horizon; cliff shelf renders as a stack of thin plates with back faces showing (sub-voxel
shelf thickness suspected).

Fr0zkaandClaude Opus 5.5 874c796c65 wip(assembler): M1 round 1 -- manifest format, block contract, bound audit, native Heightfield2D
Luna, M1 round 1 of 4 (plan in Standalone/ASSEMBLER_M1_REPORT.md):
- Versioned fixed-scale world manifest (the shipped plan format) and the Core block
contract: point evaluation, interval-or-unknown, influence bound, detail envelope, channels.
- Interval audit: 256 boxes / 6,912 samples, 0 missed, 0 unknown; a deliberately false bound
  is detected (negative control).
- Native Heightfield2D with biome input: 4,096-point hash fae2721c052aec5c identical at
W1/W8/W16; point queries 2.059 ms vs 62.115 ms legacy -- but NOT a match yet (mean density
error 274 voxels, 2,261 sign mismatches vs the legacy surface). 45 mesh-free Core queries
match direct evaluation exactly. Existing cave world unchanged (walkability, 64/64 tiles).
- Open: collision readiness, a valid full-view timing (viewer captures were occluded/empty;
top-down height maps are the only usable pair).
Also carries the design doc's owner decisions (fixed water; player edits unrestricted, route
law for automatic changes only) and three plugin files + BuildHost scripts that earlier round

Luna, round 5 goal 1 only (stopped by owner decision before the SurfaceWorld port):
- Worm and Cascading passages now pass walkability; the wide floor stays clipped while the
  narrow route core stays open.
- Hidden third failure found and fixed: long VerticalShafts diagonal legs were dropped from
  Core's spatial bins by a 100,000-bin safety cutoff (invisible to density queries);
  conservative bins restore them (18,570/18,570).
- All 15 saved probes pass a walkability-only gate; build-time walkability gate added.
NOT re-verified before the stop: W1/W8/W16 hashes, BuildHost UBT/actor run.

Fr0zkaandClaude Opus 5.5 d696463c68 wip(unreal): round 4 -- strate-type coverage matrix; SurfaceWorld via exact legacy bridge
Luna, integration round 4 (owner requirement: Core must know every strate type).
Coverage, Core vs legacy owner field (one probe per type, 686,000 LOD0 samples):
TunnelNetwork approximate (2.17% signs differ); FlatPlain / CrystalChamber native slab
fields missing (generic cave, 1.28%); Maze missing (13.3%); VerticalShafts missing (no
shaft surface); FloatingIslands missing (95.8%); Underwater approximate + no water.
SurfaceWorld: exact density (0 sign changes, LOD0-3 hashes match) through the copied
legacy evaluator -- but at legacy cost: full view 23.1 s vs legacy 23.9 s (Core caves
  without surface 0.785 s).
Passages: SlopedTunnel/VerticalShaft/Spiral pass walkability; Cascading (365/1,495) and
Worm (109/1,490) FAIL. Transitions approximate (1.2-1.3%).
BuildHost UBT + actor validation pass (SurfaceWorld layout: 2,553 visual keys, 448 LOD

Fr0zkaandClaude Opus 5.5 75210e56f3 wip(unreal): round 3 -- owner's in-game defects classified; opening room fixed; Core biome query
Luna, integration round 3, from the owner's four in-game screenshots:
- Capsule rings at the opening and the shaft continuing through the cave room were Core
world defects: the synthetic bore is removed and the opening gets a finite origin room
and floor (solid below). New world version, W1/W8/W16 identical: density
  a8bcb72d41092503, mesh 90f29ba15e24579f, payload 82c6b489e7bb7fd7, topology
  7b99448a1f844f2c.
- B-side landing and surface: headless coverage found no missing tiles or LOD-transition
gaps (960 / 640 fine tiles compiled after travel); best explained by Core's missing
SurfaceWorld representation. Null-RHI cannot rule out a presentation-only issue.
- Core mode GetBiomeAtWorldLocation now answers (e.g. Biome_Surface_Plain); biome
terrain itself is not generated yet (proposal: native Core SurfaceWorld evaluator).
Owner checked the Step29 viewer himself: the surface strate type is absent there too.

Fr0zkaandClaude Opus 5.5 5aa285c3ef wip(standalone): GPU step 28 -- skirted near tiles on GPU (correct, but SLOWER); 16 shape workers
Luna: near skirts were CPU-only by implementation gap, not correctness. Ported with
near-resolution refinement and overflow fallback; near-probe preparation split out so
the skirt kernels no longer inline the near field (first attempt: two fxc /O3 compiles
ran 10.5 h and were stopped). Shape compile proven identical at W1/W8/W16.
-SkipCpuDetailBand retired (154/640 skirt audit failures, +174 ms planning).
Audits: hashes W1/W8/W16, walk 5,642/5,642, whole-near 960 tiles + 640 skirt faces
0 sign/topology diffs (one 0.001 cm vertex-key delta), far/thin 0 diffs, both
survivals pass with 2,074 candidates at 7.00 / 7.02 GiB (was ~6.2), ten captures pass.

My runs outside the sandbox (Step28.exe). NOTE the machine was ~25% slower than last

Fr0zkaandClaude Opus 5.5 7d1808fdf2 wip(standalone): GPU step 27 -- slot-overflow fallback, -SkipCpuDetailBand (slower), -AffinityMask; full machine cached 0.93 s
Luna: normal completion path reads the raw vertex count before residency; an
over-cap count or failed readback falls back to CPU meshing. Max seen 18,153 of
19,456 vertices at (2,-9,-4,lod1) -- 1,303 headroom for this seed only.
Consumer map: 320 GPU near, 640 CPU near (skirted), 1,114 GPU far, 152 CPU far.
Exceptions are exported separately from roughness. Opt-in -SkipCpuDetailBand skips
CPU roughness for GPU-owned near visuals (lazy exact reconstruction on query).

Fr0zkaandClaude Opus 5.5 20acf57678 wip(standalone): GPU step 25 -- shape profile, roughness endpoint reuse, export before CPU frame; first launch REGRESSED
Luna: shape_compile profiled (8 workers, detail band ~323 ms of ~545 ms over 9.39M
candidates; roughness dominates). Exact vertical roughness endpoint reuse in
ShapeWorldInternal.h, hashes unchanged: ~548-577 -> ~535-548 ms. Overlapping
pipeline/pool with shape or streaming made things slower, so it stays serial (pool
precompile now 4-20 ms). Export starts before the first CPU frame. Marker-miss stall
reproduced and gated differently; the forced-cold survival audit now hits
DXGI 0x887A0005 (device removed) on a timestamp query and is NOT passing. Auto
survival passes (6.16 GB). The vertex count at InitialClipmapReady counts CPU
batches only (GPU-resident tiles excluded) -- confirmed counting, not missing geometry.

My runs outside the sandbox (Step25.exe, marker removed first, interleaved, -Timeline):
  CPU 1.329 / 1.295 / 1.318 s
  GPU cached 1.152 / 1.170 / 1.137 s, all 1,434 GPU tiles (timestamps 292 / 260 / 356 ms,
      max dispatch 19.0 / 15.9 / 75.2 ms)
GPU marker miss 2.015 s -- REGRESSION vs step 24's 1.336 s. CPU had all 2,226 tiles by
~1.3 s, but near_all_tiles_ready waited for the post-view shader warmup
      (queue 1,025 ms, finished 1,955 ms; handoff cpu_started=1434 takeover=0).

Fr0zkaandClaude Opus 5.5 2cb3344e1b wip(standalone): GPU step 20 -- detail band batched by 8 columns; gap instrumented
ApplyDetailBand claims eight adjacent columns per batch, keeping each column's scalar
order: shape stage ~586 -> ~566 ms in Luna's profile. Hashes w1/w8 identical.
My runs outside the sandbox (Step20.exe, marker removed first, interleaved):
  CPU 1.319 / 1.287 / 1.288 s
  GPU 1.320 (marker miss, 0 GPU tiles) / 1.244 / 1.215 / 1.219 s (match, ~1,400 GPU)
Shape compile 549-570 ms in both modes. The 669-821 ms gap in cached runs is still
there: export starts only after [ChunkCrossingWork] reports the ~840 CPU tiles
(LOD0-2) finished, so GPU export waits behind CPU meshing on the shared workers.
Slowest GPU tile 1.7 / 18.4 / 27.3 ms in runs b/c/d.
Audits: hashes, walk 5,642/5,642, near 960 / far 1,114 0 diffs vs CPU and WARP,
thin 353, survival 6.14 GB, ten captures as step 18. Far vertex-distance diagnostic:

Near LOD0/1 (detail band, relief, root refinement, normals) now evaluated and

WARP, vertex max 0.0049 mm (was 15 cm); far survival audit passes; CPU hashes

Fr0zkaandClaude Opus 5.5 b3af0e589e wip(standalone): owner LOD0 defects -- skirt curtains clipped, exact edge roots; interrupted (OpenAI capacity)
Not verified as a whole. In the tree when Luna's session ended ("model at capacity"):
- fins: LOD seam skirts could hang into tunnel air; skirt triangles are now clipped against the solid
half-space and carry a per-face mask so a host can hide skirts between same-LOD neighbours.
- choppy LOD0 stairs: marching cubes' linear edge interpolation misplaced vertices where the relief
bends within one cell; edge crossings corrected with the exact field (82 patches, midpoint-edge
errors 18,818 -> 3,288); normal halo now ignores the +-4.125 fallback samples.
- an explicit unclamped Core distance query for audits.

Fr0zkaandClaude Opus 5.5 08ceed200d standalone: cheap chunk crossings -- exact-tile slab compile, nearest tiles first (~1.2 s -> 121 ms peak)
- Core compiles exact-tile analytic slabs for entering tiles; a Z-column sampler reuses the coherent
noise context along each tile column; the viewer keeps residents and prioritises nearby tiles.
- 30-crossing straight flight: nearest tile ready 15.8 ms median / 27.6 ms max; full crossing wall
121 ms peak; worker CPU per crossing 545 ms median, 834 ms max.
- W1/W8 hashes equal; routes 5642/5642; look, passage, stair, thin-sheet, coarse-panel and far
audits pass; bad-shell control fails; path-hash audit kept.
Cold whole view, measured by me interleaved (busy machine): 1.242 s vs 1.255 s for 3b37d57, parity.
Still open from the owner (LOD0): fins along a strata seam, choppy stair facets.

Fr0zkaandClaude Opus 5.5 3b37d5702e standalone: owner review fixes -- paged streaming in Core, no LOD fins, LOD0 stair patches fixed
From the owner's fly-through ("very impressive, in some cases slightly better than the original"):
- Streaming: Core compiles world-aligned fine-detail pages for tiles entering the view and releases
them when they leave; the viewer keeps resident tiles. One chunk crossing: 144 new tiles, 1,822
kept (was a full rebuild). A tile built as a late page hashes identically (density, mesh, payload,
topology) to the same tile from an initial build.
- LOD>=1 fins: off-surface planar connector panels are now checked against the source surface and
projected onto it; coarse audit 0 off-surface panels; far survival passes, bad-shell still fails.
- LOD0 stair patches: 2,630 sign-changing edges had one endpoint at the fixed +-4.125 fallback
(carve surfaces were excluded from distance storage); distances now completed analytically, 462
packed signs corrected; the audit now fails on any sign edge missing either endpoint (0 of 952,997).
- W1/W8 hashes equal; routes 5642/5642; look, passage and far audits pass.
Verified by me, interleaved (8 workers, cold): 1.014 s vs 1.008 s for aeeedaa, no regression.
Open: a chunk crossing still costs ~1.2 s of page compilation.
